This January, Rapaz Land – owner and developer of Casa Leticia Boutique Hotel, opened their second hotel facility in the city. The new hotel is strategically located just beside Davao City Overland Transport Terminal. Located outside of Davao’s business district but few walks away from one of the city’s most important gateway to and fro the other provinces in the island – the bus terminal connecting the city to other key cities such as General Santos, Bukidnon, and Cagayan de Oro cities. It offers affordable accommodation with services comparable to upscale hotels in the city. It offers homey and clean rooms plus several amenities.
Just few weeks ago, Neo Davao featured another newly opened hotel called D’Leonor Hotel which is located in the northern part of the Davao’s business district. It is similar to the newly opened Casa Leticia. There are still other small hotels and inns that opened lately that we havent featured. And there are a number which are being constructed as I am writing this blog. What does this mean? Our local economy is doing aok amidst the so called global financial crisis. When you look around the city, business is doing good! Malls are being constructed here and there, condos are being built by big developers, and hotels sprouting like mushrooms. More jobs for the locals and more opportunities for budding entrepreneurs.
