As part of the ICT Davao, Inc., I was asked to be one of the reactors (well, that’s my job) of the Meet and Greet event of the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) yesterday, January 14, 2010 at Villa Margarita Hotel, J.P. Laurel Avenue, Davao City. It was hosted and co-sponsored by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Davao, Inc.
The Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) is the official organization of Contact Centers in the Philippines. It’s mission is to promote the Philippines as the country-of-choice for contact center services, develop professional standards and practices, organize learning and networking events, and work with various stakeholders to further the industry’s contribution to the national economy and strengthen its market position worldwide. Established in October 2001 by seven founding member companies, CCAP now counts 53 outsource and in-house contact centers as members, representing more than 80% of call center seats in the Philippines.
The officers of the CCAP came to Davao yesterday. They will be here until tomorrow, January 16, 2010 for an exploratory and planning mission. A perfect opportunity to promote Davao (the prime destination for ICT and Tourism investment) City’s products and Services to potential buyers and investors.
