Construction Update – Abreeza – an Ayala Mall in Davao

Good morning Neo Davao readers. Few months back, Ayala Land officially announced their upcoming investment in Davao. It is an exciting project and I know some of you guys are eager to see what’s happening lately. Here are the actual photos of the Abreeza construction in Davao City. To those who are unaware of this project, Abreeza is an upcoming business park of Ayala Land. It is their very first BPO and mall development in this side of the country.

Abreeza will be developed phase by phase. These include the construction of a mall, followed by BPO buildings for e-services and contact center operations, residential condominium by Alveo (the mid to high end developer of Ayala Land), and other developments.

Photos taken on the first week of January 2010. Thanks to my good friends Junax and Xzibit from Skyscraper for sharing these wonderful photos. I owe you alot.

To those who do not know how this project will look like once completed, you may refer to the initial draft or rendering below:

What’s in it for us? For students locally based in Davao City, the entry of new BPO projects would equate to new job openings. For local investors and budding entrepreneurs, take advantage of this new business district – as what businessmen always say, money is where the people are. Open up new shops, expand new businesses, and engage to new ventures within or near the vicinity of this rising area. For Dabawenyos away from Davao, if you’re planning to invest in real estate, then consider those projects that are near Abreeza. Normally, projects near an Ayala brand development appreciate faster (based on some projects seen here in Metro Manila and Cebu).

now that there’s an ayala mall under construction in davao, i wonder when will there be an ayala subdivision/real estate in davao?

  2. tjbrewed says:

Based on press releases, what they’re planning right now is an Ayala condominium which will be handled and developed by Alveo. To those who dont know, Alveo is the mid to high end developer of Ayala Land. Ayala Land divided its real estate business into three entities – Ayala Land Premier – or what I call as the developer for luxurious projects, Alveo – from mid to high end, and Avida – for the affordable projects.

This is nice. I’m really having fun with the information that you are giving. I think your site is useful for dabawenyos. ^_^

  4. Proud to be from the City of Davao. Soon as the Ayala Mall will open in Davao City, it would be a great wish that our Davao International Airport will already be catering more international flights, with services be properly upgraded, as you can see, we have too much left behind by Cebu??? Davao City is a prime gateway, better than them, it’s just a matter of pushing our leaders to open their minds, give way to facilitate tourism, that’s the main factor that made not just Cebu, but Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and even Indonesia??? Go Davao City!!!!!!!!

  5. love to see Davao city rising despite of many negative issues arising here in our society today most specifically in politics.

    go Davao…

I love and proud to be a Davaoeno. and proud to be a Filipino..

  6. matanong ko lang po sa lahat ng nakakalam,, inumpisahan na po ba ang construction ng Bagong nsyong pilipino?

Now that Davao is well developing. I wish that the job opening will not require beauty and age limit. If you want to help our country better especially jobless people and those in poverty. Please consider hiring overage and less pretty applicants. Give them the opportunity to live well. Look at United States it’s stores, you will see senior citizen women and men, not so pretty workers, able to work inspite of their looks. They only even require high school graduates and so. The Federal Law investigates it’s stores or business offices those who discriminates in hiring applicants with physical disabilities. So, if you just have heart for them and those that are begging for the job, please have mercy on them. God blessed your soul.

  9. ^_^ says:

i kinda agree with your statement. I hope Davao has this “high school requirement to work”, it is one of the factors to avoid tragedy in the future. I mean is “do collage graduates only the ones capable of working formally?” well, even only a high school graduate, one can have the ability to do computation, just like cashiers do. With a 2 weeks training session, even not enrolling collage is a big possibility, of course with a massive filtering/straining of applicants.

It’s great knowing that Ayala mall is branching out to Davao. Most of the branches are in Cebu, iloilo & Manila. I’m a bit curious since I’ve been to Ayala Iloilo, which is more bigger there or here in Davao? Also, will this be similar to Metro Market in Taguig who has a offices/dept. store?
    thanx….
