A Filinvest hotel to rise in Davao City

By tjbrewed

Filinvest Land will build its first hotel in Mindanao Island. It would be a business hotel that would rise in the uptown district of Buhangin – one of the business districts in Davao City. The hotel would cater mainly to business tourists and travellers.

The details of the project is yet to be finalized. However, Tristan Las Marias – Filinvest VP for Visayas and Mindanao stressed that the hotel will not be like the common business hotels in Davao City. It will also not hold conventions or similar functions. He disclosed that the construction would likely proceed in the third quarter of the year.
